The first Gold’s Gym in Vancouver is less than one week away from open its doors.
Located on the upper level of the Vancouver Mall in the former Nordstrom space, the gym will open to members for the first time on Thursday (3/24) at noon.
With an open layout and sound insulated flooring, the 32,000-square-foot facility features much more than just free-weights. Amenities include a variety of workout machines (treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes, etc.); locker rooms with saunas; a cardio cinema room (think movie theater with treadmills); training areas; a kid’s club; and more. Many of the gym’s workout machines are equipped with individual network-connected screens for access to platforms like YouTube.
The gym employs approximately 85 people with 25 FTEs. Membership pricing start at $14.99 a month.

Note: The last two images in the slider show the lower level of the former Nordstrom space, which will become a 20,000-square-foot H&M retail store. Vancouver Mall officials said H&M hopes to open the store no later than October.
