MICHAEL JAEGER
Mekos Corporation, a Vancouver-based firm dba AutoFueling Systems, has appointed Michael F. Jaeger to its Board of Directors in conjunction with his promotion to chief operating officer.
Since joining the company in July 2013 as sales and marketing director, Jaeger has assumed responsibility for management of the staff and day-to-day operations while also establishing a new strategic direction for the 40-year-old software company.
Following the industry trend toward cloud computing, AutoFueling secured its first subscription-based customers earlier this year – a significant milestone in the company’s history.
“A new era has begun for Mekos, and I’m eager to accept the challenges and opportunities ahead of us,” said Jaeger. “We get to operate a bit like a startup, yet with the security of a sizable and loyal customer base, as we roll out and enhance our subscription offering.”
Jaeger joins existing board members: David Page, president; Monte Bertolino, secretary/treasurer; and Mitch Bower, vice president.
MICHAEL SAVAGE
Wendel Family Dental recently announced the hiring of Dr. Michael Savage.
A member of the American Dental Association and Washington State Dental Association, Savage focuses on general dentistry and cosmetic dental procedures.
Born in Portland and raised in Northern California, Savage completed his undergraduate degree at Walla Walla University and graduated with his doctorate from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California.
RYAN KRAMER
Vancouver-based accounting firm Frumenti, Lander & Wallace has promoted Ryan C. Kramer to partner.
Kramer is a business tax expert who focuses on active tax planning and preparation for business owners and highly compensated employees. As partner, he will continue to champion business development for the firm.
Kramer joined Frumenti, Lander & Wallace in 2008 shortly after graduating from the University of Arizona with a bachelor of science in business administration and a major in accounting.
He is a member of the AICPA and sits on the board of directors of the New Day Community Dental Clinic, Clark County Skills Center Foundation and the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation.
PHOEBE KRUEGER
Phoebe Krueger, vice president and relationship banking officer for Pacific Continental Bank in Vancouver, recently earned her master of business administration in nonprofit management degree from the University of Portland.
Krueger began the program in the fall of 2013 and recently completed her capstone project on corporate citizenship as it applies to Pacific Continental Bank. She also achieved Beta Gamma Sigma honor society membership for her exemplary performance while in the graduate program.
When Pacific Continental Bank’s new Vancouver office opens in the near future, Krueger will conduct educational events in the office’s community room for both nonprofit and for-profit clients, the bank said.
ERICA HEARTQUIST
The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington has hired Erica Heartquist as its new communications and development coordinator.
For the past seven years, Heartquist has worked as a general assignment reporter for KGW, Channel 8. She holds a bachelor of science degree in broadcasting with a minor in speech communication from Northern Arizona University.
The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington provides free, compassionate, quality health care to children and adults who are otherwise unable to obtain such services.
