Current job: Executive director for the Clark County Association of REALTORS®.
Proudest professional moment: I recently received the Washington REALTORS® Partner of the Year Award, which is given in “recognition of outstanding service to the real estate industry and the communities we serve.” It was an honor to be recognized by my peers and to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of the association.
First job: I got a paper route to earn money for a class trip to Washington D.C., which is still one of my favorite destinations to travel for work. The worst part of the job was collecting the money. The best part was sharing the route with my twin sister.
Fun fact: My new favorite thing is my library card to the Library of Congress – the largest library in the world! I love to read and my well worn Vancouver Library card proves it!
Favorite spot on a Saturday night: Now that it’s summer, I like to be on the deck with a fire, some music, good food and friends.
Favorite movie: “The Shawshank Redemption.” It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen it, if it’s on I’m watching it.
Music of choice: My son’s junior high orchestra (he rocks the bass)! I’ve also been getting a lot of use out of the “Dinner Party” station on Pandora as well as my newly created The Shins station.
Favorite place to eat: Right now I’m on a Thai kick. I think I have a favorite dish at every Thai place in town. Spicy? Yes, please.
Motto/Inspirational quote: “He who is pleased easily is pleased most often.” It’s a good reminder to enjoy the little things in life.
