Proudest professional moment: I have been lucky to have many proud professional moments in my life. However, purchasing Audiology Clinic in 2012 would be my proudest professional moment, since we had to overcome several challenges to make it happen. Today my husband (Amit) and I are business owners and business partners, proud and humbled to be able to help people improve the quality of their lives through better hearing.
First job: Part-time Jazz dance performer in my late teens. I loved stage performances growing up. However, this remained a hobby after college years and not a profession.
Fun fact: I was a Bollywood actress for a short while during my late teens. Although it was a memorable experience, I was never serious about making acting a career.
Favorite spot on a Saturday night: There are a lot of nice places out there, but nothing beats home sweet home! I would rather spend time at home with my daughter and husband (along with a glass of Moscato) than anywhere else in the world.
Favorite movie: My all-time favorite movies are any of Audrey Hepburn and Julie Andrews’s films. I don’t watch a lot of movies or television, with the exception of Shark Tank, The Apprentice, Veep and Modern Family. Those are usually my “treadmill shows.”
Music of choice: I’m always listening to educational podcasts and Audiobooks instead of music. But, once in a while when I do, I enjoy David Guetta, Pitbull and Taylor Swift.
Favorite place to eat: That would depend on the cuisine of choice; Piazza Italia, The Matador, Departure and home cooked Indian food.
