The Southwest Washington Workforce Development Council (SWWDC) will give a presentation on its draft Strategic Workforce Plan for 2016-2020 at a free public event on Monday, May 23.
The event is an opportunity for the public to learn about the four-year plan for workforce development in the community. SWWDC is seeking feedback on the plan prior to finalizing it in June.
The presentation will be held at the Educational Service District 112 conference center, 2500 NE 65th Ave., in Vancouver, in the Clark and Pacific rooms from 2 to 4 p.m. RSVPs are requested by May 20 to info@swwdc.org.
The plan is available for review at www.swwdc.org. Businesses, labor organizations, institutions of higher education, partner organizations and the public are encouraged to provide input.
Written comments can be submitted at the meeting or emailed to info@swwdc.org by 5 p.m. on May 31.
