Current job: I am the director of software and web development at Fuel Medical Group in Camas.
Proudest professional moment: Building and maintaining iFuel, a web application that enables my coworkers to communicate and coordinate their work and the details of their client relationships.
First job: I started a newspaper delivery empire at the age of 10 in Vermillion, SD. I had two daily routes delivering the Argus Leader of Sioux Falls, SD and a weekly route delivering the Broadcaster. Nothing teaches work ethic like delivering five-pound Sunday papers at 5 a.m. on a frigid South Dakota morning!
Fun fact: I was once in a bowling league. At the end of the season I received an award for the least-improved bowler. I didn’t know that was a thing.
Favorite spot on a Saturday night: On the weeks we don’t have our kids, my husband and I can be found two-stepping and line-dancing with our friends at a Stomptown dance at Norse Hall in Portland.
Favorite movie: “Inception.” Three layers of dreams. Whoa. Either that or “Karate Kid.”
Music of choice: Lately country music has been in heavy rotation in my Spotify queue. I also enjoy the podcasts Serial, Undisclosed and Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History.
Favorite place to eat: My favorite place to eat is at home with my husband and the kids.
I’m usually the cook, but on Saturday mornings Brian makes bacon, eggs and waffles.
Motto/Inspirational quote: “What people say about me behind my back is none of my business.” I’ve seen it credited to Eleanor Roosevelt and RuPaul. I’m not sure which I’d rather believe.
