DELANO MORGAN
Vancouver-based Barrett Business Services Inc. (BBSI), a provider of business management solutions, has hired Delano Morgan as its business development manager.
Delano has more than 13 years of experience in the employment services industry. He has served on the Board of the American Red Cross and currently resides as a Foundation Board Member of the Rotary Club of Vancouver.
“I’m so happy to have Delano join our team, his positivity is truly infectious, and I know he’ll represent us in the community at the highest level” said BBSI Area Manager Eric Sawyer.
The firm touted DeLano’s experience in the areas of leadership, problem resolution, strategic planning and relationship building.
AUBREY SLAUGHTER
Vancouver Radiologists has named Dr. Aubrey Slaughter as a partner and shareholder of the firm.
Dr. Slaughter obtained her medical degree from University of Arkansas for medical sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas where she also completed her diagnostic radiology residency. She completed her fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging for special surgery in New York, NY.
“Over the past two years, Dr. Slaughter has proven to be an asset and great addition to the practice and we are excited to welcome her as the newest member of the partnership,” said Dr. John Schroeder, president and CEO of Vancouver Radiologists P.C., in a press release.
As a shareholder, Slaughter will participate in the strategic vision and planning of the organization.
KYLIE BURK
Kylie Burk has joined Davidson & Associates Insurance of Vancouver as a personal account manager.
Burk holds an associate of arts degree from Central Oregon Community College and has experience in customer service and the insurance industry.
She resides in Vancouver.

MAX AULT & SOPHIE MURO
Max Ault, vice president and director of business development for the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC) was awarded the 2017 General George C. Marshall Public Leadership Award last week by the Fort Vancouver National Trust. Additionally, Camas High School Senior Sophie Muro was recognized as the 2017 General George C. Marshall Youth Leadership Award recipient.
As recipient of the Marshall Public Leadership Award, Ault will travel to Lexington, Virginia, to tour the Marshall Foundation, and to Colonial Williamsburg and Washington, D.C. He will also participate in the nine-month Leadership Clark County Program. Ault will engage in the Fort Vancouver National Trust’s Celebrate Freedom programs throughout the year.
“We were very pleased with the quality of the nominees for this year’s award,” said Public Leadership Award Committee Chair, Phil Haberthur. “Eight outstanding individuals participated in the process, making the selection extremely difficult. Ault’s qualifications, specifically his leadership and commitment serving this community, were really remarkable.”
As recipient of the Marshall Youth Leadership Award, Muro will participate as an intern in the Celebrate Freedom programs office. She also receives a $2,500 college scholarship. The Youth Leadership Award is presented to a Clark County high school student who demonstrates leadership, takes a stand for the rights of others, serves as a role model and shows initiative and motivates others to become involved.
