County considers new community-based proposal for multi-use stadium

A variety of business community organizations and individual companies are preparing to be present and testify at the Board of Clark County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, November 29 in support of an ordinance which will impose an admissions fee on entertainment venues in the county, including baseball games at a proposed multi-use facility the fee is intended to support.

The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, Identity Clark County, the Columbia River Economic Development Council and the Vancouver Downtown Association are among those in the business community that support the creation of the multi-use facility and the admissions fee as a way to fund it.

Those interested in testifying at the hearing should be at the 6th floor hearing room inside the Clark County Public Service Center (1300 Franklin Street) by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
