State Pipe & Supply fabrication building

Longview-based Schlecht Construction Inc. broke ground April 14 on the fabrication building for State Pipe and Supply in Vancouver. The project, at 3408 N.E. 68th St., has a construction cost of $546,000. Bryan Halbert is the project executive.

 

WSUV Undergraduate Classroom Building

Washington State University Vancouver broke ground on a four-story undergraduate classroom building in January. The 59,000-square-foot facility at 14204 N.W. Salmon Creek Ave. in Vancouver has a construction cost of $15 million and will have a completed value of $28 million. Completion is slated for the fall of 2009. Woodburn, Ore.-based Triplett Wellman Construction is the project’s general contractor and Steve Duch is the project executive. The building was designed by Portland-based Thomas Hacker Architects.
