Realtors honor members, affiliates and the VBJ
The Clark County Association of Realtors recognized several members, affiliates and the Vancouver Business Journal at a luncheon held at The Heathman Lodge on Dec. 17.
The organization named Sherri Adams of Century 21 Cascade Pacific as Realtor of the Year for what it called her commitment to principles, professionalism and the realtor Code of Ethics.
Kirk Faulkner of Pinnacle Mortgage Planning, Terry Eccles-Pettet of Realty Pro and Linda McClellan of Prudential NW Properties received CCAR's Individual Affiliate, Realtor Horizon and Realtor Achievement awards, respectively.
Also at the event, CCAR selected the Vancouver Business Journal as Media of the Year, with VBJ Publisher John McDonagh accepting the award on behalf of the 15-year-old news organization.
"CCAR has been impressed by this paper's dedication to providing fair and accurate coverage of issues and stories in our community," according to a statement released by the group. "Without using undue negativity or hype, they have kept a finger on the pulse of business trends in our area and kept us all informed."
