Clark College staff honored
John Clausen, Barbara Davenport, Dick Shamrell, Jeanette Steinmueller and Dr. Jean Watson have been named the 2005 Exceptional Faculty and Exceptional Classified Staff honorees at Clark College.
Clausen is Clark College’s director of medical office programs. During his 18 years at Clark College, he has taught many students and developed an accredited Medical Assistant Program and a Medical Billing and Coding Certificate.
Physics professor Shamrell has been at Clark College for seven years, including five as a full-time faculty member.
Dr. Watson, Health Occupations instructor, has been teaching for 32 years. Since 2001, Dr. Watson has been training Clark College students entering the allied health fields.
Davenport works as credentials evaluator for Health Occupations Programs. She has been at Clark College for almost 20 years.
Steinmueller is an instructional technician in the Business Administration department. She has been at Clark College for almost eight years.
