Theologian named executive director of Murdock Trust, Vancouver
The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, Vancouver, has appointed Steven G. W. Moore to executive director effective July 10, 2006. Dr. Moore will replace Neal O. Thorpe, who is retiring from this staff position but continuing his position on the Board of Trustees.
Moore has most recently served as senior vice president of Asbury Theological Seminary and president of the Asbury Foundation. Prior to his work at Asbury, he was vice president for student life at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, vice president for campus life at Seattle Pacific University and executive director of the Texas Tech University Wesley Foundation where he also served on the faculty.
