First Independent promotes three, hires two
Kathryn Policar has been promoted to senior vice president and human resources director. Policar has served as vice president of human resources since 2003 and has 17 years experience in the finance and real estate industries.
Stephanie Koch has been promoted to senior vice president and team leader. Koch has been with the bank for nearly 20 years.
Shirley Luciano has been promoted to branch manager of First Independent’s Andresen branch. Luciano joined the bank in 2003 as a customer service representative. She has served in several roles for the bank at the Fourth Plain and Orchards branches.
Misha McCool has joined First Independent as Orchards branch manager. Previously, McCool served as service manager for Wells Fargo’s Columbia North District.
Thomas Quinn was hired as manager of the bank’s Compliance Department. Quinn has held positions at RSM McGladrey, Umpqua Bank, Moss Adams LLP and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
