LMLW welcomes new shareholder and associates

Michael C. Simon has joined Landerholm, Memovich, Lansverk & Whitesides as a shareholder. Simon has been an attorney for more than 25 years. His experience consists mainly of land use and real estate law. He was a member of the City of Vancouver Planning Commission for nearly seven years and was its chair in 1994.

Brian K. Gerst, Katie H. Shea and Antony K. Sayess have joined the firm as associates. Gerst has joined the real estate practice department. He graduated from Willamette University and Gonzaga School of Law. He has been practicing law since 2002.

Shea has joined the estate planning department. She practices in areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration and federal taxation. Shea also works with probate and trust administration matters and guides charities and other nonprofit organizations through the process of obtaining tax-exempt status from the IRS. Shea was previously an associate of Stokes Lawrence in Seattle.

Sayess has been an attorney for more than three years and has experience in the areas of business and tax law. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced at a large international law firm in New York City. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, George Washington University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
