FEATURED MOVER: GARRET HARPER

Vancouver industrial broker named top producer of 2009

Broker Garret Harper was honored as NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson's Top Producer of 2009 at the company's annual awards banquet Jan. 30. Harper was also promoted to associate vice president.

Harper has been with NAI NBS since 2003, with last year marking his first appearance in the company's Top 5. Harper closed 28 transactions totaling nearly $18 million in 2009.

Standout deals in the past year included the $5.5 million sale of a 19-acre parcel at Birtcher Business Center to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the $4.6 million sale of a 64,000-square-foot Vancouver warehouse.

Harper also serves as treasurer of the Evergreen School District Foundation Board.

NAI NBS stayed solid during a challenging 2009. Last year, the brokerage division completed 738 transactions with a total value of $266 million and the property management team managed $1.15 billion worth of assets.
