Rebound Orthopedics and Neurosurgery welcomes new surgeons
Rebound Orthopedics and Neurosurgery in Vancouver expanded their practice with the addition of two surgeons, Benjamin Jacobs, M.D. and Roham Moftkhar, M.D.
Both physicians will be working at Rebound's offices at Southwest Washington Medical Center and Legacy Salmon Creek.
An orthopedic surgeon who sub-specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery, Jacobs joined Rebound on Aug. 23. He is trained in fracture management, reconstruction and microvascular and nerve surgery of the hand, arm, elbow and shoulder. Prior to joining Rebound, Jacobs completed a hand fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
A neurological surgeon who received fellowship training at the University of Miami in endovascular/cerebrovascular neurosurgery, Moftakhar started his neurosurgical practice at Rebound on Aug. 9. Moftakhar is a graduate of George Washington School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeon and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
From offices at Southwest Washington Medicine Center, Legacy Salmon Creek and Portland's Rose Quarter, Rebound's team provides advanced patient care and expertise. Rebound's subspecialties include orthopedics, neurosurgery, sports medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Additionally, Rebound offers physical therapy and hand therapy.
DAVE BENNETT
Image Access West, Inc., a local provider of document imaging and information management solutions, has hired David Bennett to work as a systems engineer in its professional services group in Vancouver.
Bennett joins Image Access West from his previous position with a Home Security Systems company. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Bennett received his Bachelor's degree from Kaplan University in Information Technology.
