Paul Lewis

Lewis will assume the full responsibilities of city manager on April 1, following current city manager Justin Clary’s last day on March 30. After nearly eight years with Ridgefield, Clary tendered his resignation in February to pursue opportunities with the environmental consulting firm Maul Foster Alongi.

Lewis has served as finance director with the city of Vancouver and with the Clark County Auditor’s Office. Since 2004, he has been sole proprietor of Financial & Management Consulting, whose projects have included providing support to the cities of Vancouver, Camas and Washougal, including serving as interim assistant city manager for the city of Vancouver from November 2010 through March 2011.

“We are excited to have someone of Paul’s caliber fill in as interim city manager while we undertake the search for a permanent city manager” said Ridgefield Mayor Ron Onslow. “Paul is highly regarded throughout Clark County and I have no doubt that he will continue to manage Ridgefield on the positive track that we have been on for a number of years.”
