iQ Credit Union picked up a slew of Washington Credit Union League awards, including one for corporate philanthropy.
The credit union that has branches throughout Vancouver, Battle Ground and Hazel Dell, won the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award for corporate philanthropy, raising more than $250,000 for charity this year.
The Credit Union for Kids wine auction raised more than $138,000, up from the $20,000 it raised five years ago at its first auction.
The Washington Credit Union League’s social responsibility recognition program was established to encourage credit union involvement in community projects and activities.
Lisa Stockman, executive assistant to iQ CEO Roger Michaelis and who coordinates the wine auction, won the Distinguished Credit Union Professional of the Year award.
The award recognizes a credit union employee who has achieved a major accomplishment within the credit union industry.
Michaelis won the league’s Mark of Excellence Award, which acknowledges sustained exemplary leadership in credit unions for 25 years or more.
And the Clark County Chapter of the Washington Credit Union League won the award for Chapter of the Year.
