Gilda Ciraulo

 

Ciraulo has served as an associate at Westby Associates Inc., assisting area nonprofits with fundraising, event planning, strategic planning and marketing. She also served as a campaign manager for Washington Senator Annette Cleveland.

“Gilda Ciraulo has a wealth of knowledge on building nonprofits funding and creating public awareness for programs,” said Don Martel, president of Rocksolid’s Board of Directors. “We are thrilled she will be part of our team, to continue to build upon the foundation the previous directors have set.”

Among the organizations Ciraulo has worked with in a volunteer capacity are Battle Ground Cares, Battle Ground High School and the Rotary Club of Battle Ground.

Chandra ChaseCHANDRA CHASE

The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce has hired Chandra Chase to serve as the organization’s new communications director. Chase fills the position left by Terra Mahmoudi, who recently accepted a position at Riverview Community Bank.

“Chamber members have been well served by Terra’s artistic eye, attention to detail and her desire to help support businesses. We congratulate her on her promotion and we’re thrilled to have great continuity in our communication services as we welcome Chandra Chase to the Chamber.”

Chase is a familiar face in Camas-Washougal where she has worked at the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce for the past seven years.

She is a Vancouver Resident and a graduate of Washington State University Vancouver and Clark College.

Jeff HarperJEFF HARPER

Vancouver-based fabricator Greenberry Industrial has hired Jeff Harper as a senior manager.

Harper brings more than 20 years of experience in heavy civil and marine construction to his new position, which will be focused on major project management as well as the development of advanced estimating and cost tracking systems.

Previously, Harper spent 14 years with Advanced American Construction and nine years with Kiewit. Among his past project experiences is the reconstruction of Interstate 15 in Utah for the 2000 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, a $1.5 billion project with 17 miles of road and 144 bridges.

A Pullman native, Harper holds civil and environmental engineering degrees from Washington State University. He is active in the Washington Public Ports Association and has been a local leader in Boys Scouts of America for the past 17 years.

Tamara FullerTAMARA FULLER

Tamara Fuller, a Vice President and office broker in NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson’s Vancouver office, was named the company’s #4 Top Producer at its annual Awards Banquet last month in Portland.

Fuller, a broker with NAI NBS since 2000, has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), General Real Estate Institute (GRI) and
Certified Green Broker designations. She is also active in numerous Clark County civic organizations.

Robin Bammert-VadenROBIN BAMMERT VADEN

Robin Bammert Vaden recently joined Red Lion Hotel Vancouver at the Quay as its director of sales and marketing.

Bammert has been with the Red Lion Hotels Corporation for more than ten years serving as a director of sales and catering in Idaho, and most recently in Olympia.

 

CLARK COLLEGE FOUNDATION

Four new members have been added to Clark College Foundation’s development staff: development officers Milton Dennis and Constance Grecco; Senior Administrative Assistant Judy Ivey; and part-time grant writer Alf Langland.

Dennis is a former executive with United Way. He has directed a number of community campaigns and has been responsible for raising nearly $200 million in his career.

Grecco is a veteran account manager and community relations director. She generated millions of dollars in gifts, public relations and advertising for the Cascade Division of The Salvation Army.

Ivey is the former principal assistant to the director of capital planning and development at Washington State University, a position she held for 12 years.

Langland is a 20-year veteran in grant and contract development, as well as public school federal program management. He is a former human resources analyst for Clark County and program director at the Northwest
Regional Educational Laboratory in Portland.

Additionally, the foundation has promoted Sam Pollach to research coordinator.

CREDC BOARD

At its annual investor meeting last month, the investors of the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC) elected their 2013 Board of Directors. Five individuals were voted in for first term positions as CREDC Board of Directors for years 2013-2015:

• Leonard Felix, president, CID Bioscience

• Keith Forrester, senior director of group sales & account management, Kaiser Permanente

• Betsy Henning, CEO & founder, AHA!

• Jeff Parker, Camas plant manager, Linear Technology

• Casey Wykoff, principal, LSW Architects

The following individuals were voted in for second term positions:

• Jeff Ahner, maintenance & engineering director, Frito-Lay Inc.

• Rick Goode, president/CEO, Columbia Machine

• Greg Seifert, president/CEO, Biggs Insurance Services

Two directors emeritus were voted in for one year terms:

• Lisa Lowe, shareholder, Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt

• John McDonagh, publisher, Vancouver Business Journal
