M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust grants awarded

M.J. Murdock logoThe M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust has released its latest communications report, highlighting grants awarded by the Vancouver-based entity during its spring meeting to organizations across the country.

The Trust invested nearly $8 million in 41 organizations. These included work such as:

  • $240,000 to National Forest Foundation in Montana (Northwest conservation work)
  • $250,000 to Oregon Historical Society (regional history)
  • $400,000 to Tacoma Art Museum (gallery expansion and improved visitor experience)

The Trust’s mission is to enrich the quality of life in the Pacific Northwest by providing grants and enrichment programs to organizations seeking to strengthen the region’s educational, spiritual and cultural base in creative and sustainable ways.
