The Ridgefield Business Association and Metro Wine Bar & Bistro will celebrate the completion of road construction on Main Ave. with a grand re-opening event on Saturday, September 14 from 4 to 10 p.m.
The event will feature live music and entertainment, food, beverages, activities for children and vendor booths. A ribbon cutting celebration will start at 6 p.m. on the footsteps of Metro Bistro and Wine Bar, which is located at 112 South Main Ave.
Organizers hope the event will be an economic shot in the arm for the wine bar and neighboring Ridgefield businesses after a summer of construction slowed traffic in the area. The construction on Main Ave. was related to the city’s Overlook Park development.
