Jean Shaw

Shaw has a J.D. degree from Gonzaga University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. She is certified through both the Washington and Oregon state bar associations.

Lauren HarrisLAUREN HARRIS

Lauren Harris, clinic administrator at Aethena Gynecology Associates, has become a fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), the certification and standard-setting division of MGMA-ACMPE.  

Fellowship in the ACMPE is the highest distinction in the medical group practice management profession. This accomplishment will be formally recognized in October at the ACMPE Luncheon and Fellows Convocation, held in conjunction with the MGMA 2013 Annual Conference in San Diego.

Harris has been with Aethena Gynecology Associates, a three-physician gynecology practice located in Fishers Landing, since 2011. She has more than 15 years of experience in medical billing and healthcare administration.

John StellpflugJOHN STELLPFLUG

Vancouver-based Sigma Design has announced the hiring of John Stellpflug as a computer numerically controlled (CNC) programmer.

Stellpflug has spent the last 20 years working in CNC job shops operating and programming a range of machines to create parts for the electronics, industrial, medical and aerospace industries.

Jacinda Williams has joined Onpoint Medical Solutions Inc., a web-based medical billing and collections company, as a medical collector in their Vancouver office.  

Williams has years of experience in both customer service and medical collections and is part of the company’s expansion plan in the Pacific Northwest.

JOHN MORRISON (not pictured)

The Board of County Commissioners recently affirmed the appointment of John R. Morrison, Clark County Fair manager and chief executive officer, to also take the job of Event Center executive director at the fairgrounds.

Morrison was hired as fair manager by the nonprofit Fairgrounds Site Management Group in 2009. He had volunteered with the Clark County Fair Association board for the previous 16 years, serving as chairman for six. He will work for the Fairgrounds Site Management Group in both capacities.
 
Previously, Morrison was owner of JRM Management Services of Battle Ground and chief financial officer for Online One in Battle Ground.

Morrison earned a bachelor’s degree in social science and economics at Chapman College and master’s in educational administration at Pepperdine University. He was the U.S. representative to the Australian Joint Services Staff College in Canberra and is a graduate of the National Security Management program for senior Department of Defense officials at Harvard University.
