Vancouver Rotary Foundation awards $48,000 in grants

Community Programs Fund grants were awarded to the following community organizations:

  • Celebrate Life ($3,500)
  • Children’s Center ($5,000)
  • Community Mediation Services ($2,400)
  • Council for the Homeless WHO Shelter ($3,000)
  • Daybreak Youth Services ($3,000)
  • Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools ($3,800)
  • Free Clinic of Southwest Washington ($2,250)
  • Friends of the Children ($3,250)
  • Innovative Services NW ($4,000)
  • Lelooska Foundation ($2,500)
  • Lifeline Connections ($4,000)
  • Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation ($3,000)
  • Vancouver Symphony Orchestra ($2,500)
  • 211info ($800)

The Vancouver Rotary Foundation is funded by contributions and proceeds from the annual Rotary Festival of Trees and other contributions. The foundation has given more than $3 million in scholarships to local students and grants to community organizations since its creation in 1972.
