Students of NW-REI will now complete a climbing rescue course as part of their curriculum and will graduate with ENSA certifications. The Vancouver-based school will also be offering ENSA certification classes for non-students.
“The partnership between ENSA and Northwest Renewable Energy Institute will create great new opportunities for safe work at height and rescue training in wind and telecommunications” said Daniel Vasquez, the ENSA Safe Access and Rescue Instructor of NW-REI. “ENSA is a true leader in their field and we are really excited to be able to offer their training to our students. Since we’ll be offering classes at our campus here in Vancouver and on-site by request, this is also a good chance for companies looking to re-certify their climbers.”
NW-REI will be training on two pieces of ENSA-certified rescue equipment (Tractel and PDQ) and may add more in the near future.
ENSA is a division of Mallory Safety & Supply, a highly specialized group of work-at-height safety experts providing support and rigging services to the wind power, telecom and industrial markets.
