Shaun Nelson

 Corwin Beverage Company has promoted three individuals to management positions at the firm’s Ridgefield headquarters. Shaun Nelson has been promoted to purchasing and inventory manager; Chris Workman has been promoted to community relations manager; and Austen Kuehl has been promoted to warehouse manager.

Nelson, a Vancouver resident, previously held the position of product availability supervisor and has worked for Corwin Beverage for six years.

Workman previously held the position of on-premise sales representative and has worked for the company for 13 years. He is a resident of La Center.

Kuehl previously held the position of warehouse shift manager. He has worked for Corwin Beverage for 9 months and is a resident of Vancouver.

Lonny MorganLONNY MORGAN

Sigma Design has hired Lonny Morgan as a mechanical engineer.

Lonny holds two bachelor of science degrees, one in mechanical engineering and the other in industrial education from Central Washington University in Ellensburg.

In his new role, Morgan will be responsible for providing mechanical engineering services for a variety of customer needs.

KENNETH HASH & TRINH TRAN

Kenneth HashTrinh Tran

Kenneth Hash has joined the staff at HDJ Design Group as the senior transportation manager.

Previously, Hash was the SW Region Local Programs Manager for WSDOT. He brings more than 34 years of transportation expertise to the Vancouver company.

During his time with WSDOT, Hash worked on programs for counties, cities, port districts, planning organizations, tribal nations and other public agencies within the seven counties in Southwest Washington.

HDJ Design Group has also hired Trinh Tran as a civil engineering designer.

Tran brings more than eight years of experience in project design including federal, military, aviation, commercial and residential projects. She also has four years of public works experience doing inspections and permits for the City of West Linn, Oregon, and King County, Washington.

VIRGINIA KING & LYNN OSMUNDSEN

Aethena Gynecology Associates of Vancouver recently announced that Virginia King and Lynn Osmundsen have passed the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) board certification exam.

2013 marks the first year a subspecialty board in urogynecology was offered and approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Currently, King and Osmundsen are the only FPMRS Board Certified physicians in Clark County.

The FPMRS subspecialty was designed to train and certify gynecologists and urologists to care for women with complex pelvic floor disorders.

Michael LaryMICHAEL LARY

The Board of Directors of Vancouver’s Downtown Association recently voted unanimously to add Source Climbing Center’s managing partner Michael Lary to their ranks.

Lary has been an owner/partner of the Main Street indoor climbing facility since March 2011. He has experience in product and web design, and a degree from the University of Kansas in industrial design. Lary served as operations manager of the Portland Rock Gym until 2009.

“We are thrilled to have Michael on our board,” said VDA Executive Director Lee Rafferty. “In his brief time in our downtown community, he has already made a big difference. He currently chairs our Economic Development Community and put his design skills to work at the very successful Heritage Square portion of the Sunday Streets Alive event in August. He is a creative thinker who does a great job of getting the best ideas to the table.”

DON RUSSO, DANIEL MONAGHAN, BEN HOSKINS & POLINA SENCHILO

The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) recently welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors, an experienced board chair and a new “Red Coat” ambassador.

The organization’s new board chair is Don Russo, a shareholder and commercial real estate attorney at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. He served as chamber board chair in 2009-2010, and served six years as the public affairs committee chairman.

New board members are Daniel Monaghan of Perkins & co. and Ben Hoskins of 1-800-GOT-JUNK. Joining GVCC’s “Red Coat” ambassador team is Polina Senchilo of Columbia Collectors.

RIVERVIEW PROMOTIONS

Riverview Community Bank recently announced the promotions of the following five employee-owners, as voted by its Board of Directors: Retail Service Coordinator Jennifer Konopasek and Controller David Lam have been elevated to senior vice presidents; Assistant Controller & Item Processing Supervisor Wendy Beck and Special Assets Officer Lisa Stapleton have been promoted to vice presidents; and Internal Auditor Christina Mulholland has been named assistant vice president.
