Katharine Coakley

Prior to her position at Columbia Bank, she was senior vice president at Key Private Bank for seven years. She served as regional market manager for a private banking team and had direct client responsibility for several high net-worth families.

Coakley has a bachelors degree in business administration/finance from the University of California, Berkeley.

Columbia Bank operates five branches in Southwest Washington: three in Vancouver, one in Woodland and one in Longview.

Vancouver-based Entek Corporation has hired Ryan Macauley as a commercial-industrial planned maintenance specialist in sales.

In his new role, Macauley will be responsible for growing Entek’s planned maintenance program in greater Southwest Washington and Oregon for commercial and industrial businesses.

“Entek is the place I want to be because of their core values; integrity, honesty and professionalism,” said Macauley.

In a press release, the company said Macauley brings energy, professionalism, ingenuity and HVAC experience to the ENTEK team.

VANCOUVER’S DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION

The Board of Directors for Vancouver’s Downtown Association recently elected a new slate of officers for 2014.

The organization selected Josh Oliva (Hi-School Pharmacy Real Estate) as its new board chairman. Other officers chosen were Linda Reid (Columbia Bank) as vice-chair; Linda Glover (Divine Consign) as board secretary; and Linda McLain (Currie-McLain) as board treasurer.

Leadership responsibilities for the new officers will begin January 1.

PUBLIC RELATIONS SOCIETY OF AMERICA (PORTLAND METRO CHAPTER)

The Portland Metro Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) has elected its 2014 Board of Directors.
