Donors who directly fund VDA are eligible to claim 75 percent of their donation as a credit against Washington State B&O taxes they incur. The downtown association received a total of more than $133,333 to fund its many projects.
“VDA is making a real difference in our downtown because we have the backing of those who see our work as vital to the economic recovery of this region,” said VDA president Josh Oliva. “Their investment will propel new projects, as well as foster stronger relationships, and positive change. We are so grateful.”
