The program focuses on individual and community development. Each recipient will be continuing their education locally at either Clark College or Washington State University Vancouver in the fall of 2014.
“These students have set an excellent example for fellow students to follow and are all deserving recipients,” said KMR Executive Director Kate Jones. “The cost challenges of going to college can hold good kids back. Our foundation is proud to be able to help students who want to pursue further educational opportunities.”
KMR was founded by local businessman and philanthropist Marty Rifkin.
