SW WA Behavioral Health seeks Quality Review Team members

The Southwest Washington Behavioral Health (SWBH) Quality Review Team (QRT), a subcommittee of the Mental Health Advisory Board (MHAB), is recruiting up to four candidates to fill vacant positions.

Serving Clark, Cowlitz and Skamania counties, the QRT provides performance feedback to the SWBH Governing Board, SWBH executive management, and the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery of the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.

The QRT works toward a public mental health system that is accessible, provides high-quality services and is responsive to people’s needs. To accomplish these goals, the QRT seeks feedback from mental health consumers, family members and others. Based on this feedback, it determines how well the system is meeting people’s needs and recommends system improvements. While functioning independently of SWBH’s public mental health authority, the QRT plays a key role in providing consumer and family participation in SWBH quality management activities.

Prospective QRT members should have a working knowledge of, experience with, or strong interest in learning the issues related to mental health. Members serve up to a three-year term.

Those interested in serving on the QRT are asked to submit a resume and letter of interest to Quality Review Team, Southwest Washington Behavioral Health. Attention: Janis Housden, PO Box 664, Vancouver, WA 98666-0664.
