The Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a budget for 2015-2016 following a public hearing Tuesday evening.
The new budget is $896.2 million for all county services funded by all revenue, including state and federal grants. The general fund portion is $295.7 million.
County Administrator Mark McCauley, who recommended the budget, said it will maintain current operations and make strategic investments in law enforcement and criminal justice to promote public safety.
