Officials from Washington Healthplanfinder, the state’s online health insurance exchange, will be in Vancouver this week to answer questions about the exchange’s small business marketplace.
The informational event, which will focus on providing small businesses with up-to-date information regarding insurance options, will take place at the Hilton Vancouver Washington on December 10 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The small business marketplace allows employers with up to 50 employees to compare plans, decide their contribution level and manage payment. Eligible businesses can also access a small employer federal tax credit.
So far, more than 1,300 small businesses statewide have created accounts to view their options at wahealthplanfinder.org.
