County to fill three seats on Public Facilities District Board

The Board of Clark County Councilors is seeking applicants for three positions on the Public Facilities District board of directors. Terms begin immediately and continue through 2018.

The District was created by the board in 2002 to participate in development of regional centers like the convention center in Vancouver.

Board members receive $50 per day while attending meetings.

Individuals interested in filling one of the vacant positions are asked to submit a letter and resume to Jennifer Clark, Board of County Councilors, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000 or via email to jennifer.clark@clark.wa.gov. Letters and resumes should demonstrate knowledge about Clark County and summarize any experience in tourism; marketing; events and promotion; hotels and convention centers; facility operations and finance; and economic development.

The deadline to submit a resume is 5 p.m., Feb. 11.
