Torque Coffee, which started in 2011 in a renovated garage space at 501 Columbia Street in downtown Vancouver, is building out a second location in downtown Washougal next to the Pendleton Woolen Mills.
With the new location, co-owner Ryan Palmer said Torque wants to “create a new level of appreciation for east county residents.”
“We have been looking for a second location for awhile,” he said. “I have been all over the county, including Battle Ground and Hazel Dell, but I felt Washougal had the right ingredients for us at the right time.”
Palmer said he hopes to provide Washougal with a distinct coffee and social experience.
The new location will open in the coming weeks with a grand opening scheduled in February.
