When Ryan Moor started selling screen printing supplies nine years ago, he had little idea of how quickly his business would grow. From printing a few shirts in his mother’s kitchen, to a business that provides screen printing supplies, equipment, and training around the world, it’s been a whirlwind of hard work and success. Through acquisition and infrastructure building, said Moor, the firm has increased its team over 30 percent in the last two years.
In 2010, the company added a 60,000 square-foot facility in Arkansas and a 12,000 square-foot facility in Los Angeles. That same year, the company made the INC 500 and 5000 lists and exceeded their gross sales goals, with a team of more than 60 employees.
Moor said that over the last four years, vertical integration has helped the company maintain growth. They now manufacture their own presses, and have acquired other screen printing manufacturers.
“This lets us control our technology and supply line, and give customers something different,” said Moor.
The company has also expanded their training offerings. Moor said they give screen printing classes all over the country, and have eight million YouTube viewings.
Moor said these new concepts have helped Ryonet expand investment capital, equipment, building space and growth of employees. They are also establishing a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and website.
“We’re really in a ramp-up stage right now,” said Moor.
