LifePort Armor Technologies

Vancouver-based RSV Construction Services broke ground Oct. 15 on a manufacturing facility for Woodland-based LifePort Inc. called LifePort Armor Technologies. The $2.8 million, 34,200-square-foot project at 1795 Howard Way in Woodland is being built with concrete tilt-up panels, split face masonry and pre-painted metal. John Graves of RSV is project executive, project architect is Jeff Lightheart of Vancouver-based Architects Associative and Chris Wonderly and Mike Odren of Vancouver-based Olson Engineering are handling planning and engineering.

Cowlitz Indian Tribal Health Clinic

Vancouver-based Rehfeldt Construction broke ground on the Cowlitz Indian Tribal Health Clinic Jan. 16. The 12,700-square-foot clinic is being built at 1044 11th Ave. in Longview and will offer services for medical and mental health, chemical dependency, health education and wellness with space for future dental services. The project architect is Seattle-based Lagerquist and Morris. The groundbreaking included a traditional Cowlitz blessing.
