Building Industry Association elects board members
The Building Industry Association of Clark County recently held elections for its board of directors.
Hugh Hall of Lynwood Homes was named president of the executive board for 2008. Other officers are Vice President Morall Olson of M.J. Olson Enterprises; Vice President Secretary Tracy Doriot of Doriot Construction; Vice President Treasurer Jaima Webb of First American Title; and Vice President Associate Linda Poppert of Coldwell Banker.
The new members will be installed Nov. 13 and will take office Jan. 1.
Pride design awards on tap
The Clark County Community Pride Design Awards are on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a ceremony starting at 3:15 p.m. The awards program will be held at the Clark County Public Service Center in the sixth floor hearing room, 1300 Franklin St., in Vancouver. 2006 award winners include the Firstenburg Community Center, Nautilus Inc. and Clark Center at Washington State University Vancouver.
