New Tradition Homes opens new headquarters
New Tradition Homes was to have celebrated the opening of its new corporate headquarters at Union Prairie Business Park Friday, June 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The new building is located at 11815 N.E. 113th St. in Vancouver.
The $8 million, 23,200-square-foot corporate headquarters anchors the new three-phase business park. Union Prairie includes two tenant lease spaces of 4,000 and 6,600 square feet. The subsequent phases are planned for 25,300 square feet and 30,250 square feet respectively, and will be built as demand increases.
Approximately 45 New Tradition Homes employees will work out of the new building.
Team Construction was the contractor on the project.
Heritage Centre opens in Woodland
The light industrial Heritage Centre building has opened in the Woodland Industrial Park. The building, which is owned by Heritage Centre LLC, is located at 1625 Heritage St. in Woodland. Schlecht Construction served as the general contractor. The building’s grand opening was to be Thursday, June 8.
The $3.8 million facility has already attracted three tenants – Design Manufacturing, a commercial cabinetry shop previously located in Clark County; American Paper Converting, which stores large paper rolls used to make toilet tissue and paper towels at a plant adjacent to Heritage Centre; and Advanced Nutrients, a manufacturer of soil nutrients. The three companies have leased approximately three-fourths of the building’s 65,000 square feet of space.
Schlecht expects the remaining space to be filled soon, particularly with high lease prices in the Portland-Vancouver area and sales tax advantages on capital improvements and for new hires in for manufacturers in Cowlitz County. Heritage Centre LLC plans to build a similar facility in the Woodland area in 2007.
