The Building Industry Association on Sept. 20 announced the 2006 Parade of Homes People’s Choice Awards. The event was held July 14 through 30 at Allegro Ridge in Washougal.
General Contractor Ken Winkelman won the Best Bathroom award with "The Cheyenne," as well as the Best Interior Design Award. The Best Kitchen award went to "Hayden’s Manor," by Omega Custom Homes. That home also took the Best Master Suite Award and the Best Architectural Design Award. Fazzolari Custom Homes won the Best Landscaping Award for its "Giving House, Encore." The Best of Show award saw a return to "Hayden’s Manor," giving Omega Custom Homes the top prize at the competition.
