The Columbia Asthma & Allergy Clinic opened Friday, Nov. 18 in Camas. The clinic is headed by Medical Director Sanjeev Jain.
In addition to being a working clinic, the facility has extended stay capabilities and a clinical laboratory with 24-hour turn-around on laboratory and other immunology testing, according to a statement from the clinic. The clinic can also provide supplies and hypoallergenic products to patients.
The clinic is located in Camas at 3400 S.E. 196th Ave., in the The Glen business development.
Before moving to Vancouver, Dr. Jain was part of the faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
Fazzolari donates proceeds from the "Giving House" to low-income housing
Developer John Fazzolari presented YW Housing with a check for $5,000 this month from the sale of the "Giving House" at this year’s Parade of Homes in Washougal. Another $5,000 was presented to Open House Ministries.

"We are both delighted and glad for the support from a housing developer since both agencies provide housing for very low income and sometimes homeless individuals and families," said YW Housing Director Julie DeSmith in an e-mail. "We appreciate the building industry supporting and being a part of the solution to homelessness."
Local brokerage raises $34,000 for kids
Coldwell Banker Barbara Sue Seal Properties raised $34,000 for the "I Have a Dream" Foundation of Oregon and Southwest Washington during the month of October. The foundation sponsors low income children to receive assistant in educational guidance and scholarships.
