Jaime Herrera (R-Ridgefield) on House passage last week of a temporary repeal to voter-approved Initiative 960, which requires a public disclosure period and a two-thirds vote by the legislature to raise taxes. Gov. Chris Gregoire (D-Wash.) is expected to sign an amended version of the bill later today.
