Announcing the Kyle Corwin Lifetime Achievement Award winner

The Vancouver Business Journal is proud to announce Riverview Community Bank Chairman & CEO Patrick Sheaffer has been selected to receive the Kyle W. Corwin Lifetime Achievement Award. The award recognizes one person annually who has spent their career leading, mentoring, building a business and giving back.

A graduate of Camas High School, Sheaffer has been with Riverview since 1968 and has served in his current capacity since 1993. During his 30+ years with the company, Riverview has grown from just two branches to 17.

In nominating Sheaffer for the award, Riverview executive vice president Kim Capeloto wrote:

“Pat believes in vigorously supporting organizations and activities in communities the bank serves. In addition to his community service, Pat’s employees dedicate thousands of hours of their personal time to numerous local organizations, including more than 35 that have a Riverview representative on their board of directors. Riverview also contributes over 1.5 percent of its before-tax income to organizations in the areas of education, economic development, children services and arts & culture. In addition to recognition as a leader in philanthropy, Riverview was recognized in 2011 as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon and Washington.”
