Uncertainty has haunted business for the better part of the last four years. Now that the national election is behind us, let’s hope we can put that uncertainty that has kept investment and growth on the sideline behind us. The argument of who occupies the white house, right up to the casting of the last vote, has done little more than incite uncivil discourse and further polarize the electorate.
Truth be told, changes, regardless of whose address is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, will take time. It will take time to define them, time to roll them out and time to change them – if in fact they need to be changed.
If your side won, great. Now let’s get down to business. If your side didn’t, take a day or two to lick your wounds and let’s get down to business.
