A fundraiser for the documentary film, “The Winding Stream – The Carters, the Cashes and Course of Country Music” is taking place at the Liberty Theater in Ridgefield next Friday, November 10. Proceeds from the event will help film-maker Beth Harrington complete the project.
In addition to showing clips from the film, organizers plan to raffle off a number of prizes, including a chance to sing a line of “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” in the credits of the film.
Live music will be provided by Fadin’ By Nine, a Vancouver-based bluegrass band.
The suggested donation at the door is $10 ($8 in advance if you call the theater's box office at 360-887-7260). The event starts at 7:30 p.m.
