CREDC announces ’16 board

The Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC) has elected its 2016 Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

Among the 2016 officers is Greg Seifert, president & CEO of Biggs Insurance. Seifert will serve as CREDC board chair.

“I am honored to be elected chair and am thankful for the strong leadership of my predecessors that have helped guide the organization to its current standing,” said Seifert. “I can honestly say that this is the strongest and healthiest I’ve seen the organization in recent memory, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish in the next two years.”

Other 2016 officers include:

  • Vice Chair: Casey Wyckoff, president, LSW Architects
  • Immediate Past Chair: Tim Schauer, president, MacKay Sposito
  • Secretary: Lisa Lowe, shareholder, Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt
  • Treasurer: Lance Barrett, managing member, Barrett & Company

The following individuals were voted in for first term positions as CREDC Board of Directors for 2016-2018:

  • Bill Dudley, attorney, Landerholm, P.S.
  • Lisa Goecke, shareholder, Perkins & Co
  • Darryl May, SVP, commercial banking center manager, Umpqua Bank
  • John McDonagh, publisher, Vancouver Business Journal
  • Frank Nichols, CEO/president, Silicon Forest Electronics

Three individuals were voted in for second term positions as CREDC Board of Directors for 2016-2018:

  • Leonard Felix, president, CID Bio-Science
  • Betsy Henning, CEO, AHA
  • Jeff Parker, director of Plant Operations, Linear Technology

Four Directors Emeritus were voted in for one year terms:

  • Jeff Ahner, technical manager, Frito Lay, Inc.
  • Keith Forrester, VP, marketing, sales and business development, Kaiser Permanente
  • Eric Fuller, president, Eric Fuller & Associates
  • John Marck, president/CEO, Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas

“We have set aggressive strategic goals for the organization in 2016, which wouldn’t be possible without the expertise and support of the Board,” said Mike Bomar, CREDC president, in a press release. “We are incredibly fortunate to have the collective expertise of such an amazing group of leaders guiding the organization.”
