Umpqua bank hires residential mortgage lending officer
Umpqua Bank has hired Sam Phomsoukha as a residential loan officer for the Hazel Dell Mortgage lending office located at 600 N.E. 99th St. in Vancouver. Phomsoukha joins the Umpqua Bank Mortgage lending team from First Horizon Construction Lending where he was a financial analyst. Phomsoukha will now provide residential mortgage lending in the Vancouver and Mill Plain market area.
Phomsoukha was born in Thailand and immigrated to the United States at the age of eight. He holds a degree in Finance from Portland State University and is fluent in English, Thai and Lao. Phomsoukha is very involved in the Asian community and looks forward to offering lending services to this market. He is also an accomplished violinist and plays for the Marylhurst Symphony.
