Micropump’s Jeff Hohman to resign as president and CEO
After 10 years with Vancouver-based low flow pump manufacturer Micropump, a division of IDEX, president and CEO Jeff Hohman is leaving.
"I’ve been here for ten years so it was not an easy decision," Hohman said. "I’m going to certainly miss this community."
Hohman has accepted a position with Kent-based Flow International Corp., which designs and manufactures ultrahigh-pressure water jet products, where he will serve as executive vice president and general manager, overseeing the newly-created water jet operations throughout North and South America. He starts work there Nov. 1.
"We’re very excited to welcome a person of Jeff Hohman’s caliber to the company," said Flow President and Chief Executive Officer Stephen R. Light.
Micropump executives have not yet chosen a replacement for Hohman.
WSU board of regents names bank president as member
Michael C. Worthy, president and chief executive officer of the Bank of Clark County, has been named a member of the Washington State University board of regents. In 1999, Worthy led the founding of the Bank of Clark County. He previously worked for Wells Fargo and First Independent Bank. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from Washington State University. He was chairman of the Washington State University chancellor’s advisory committee in 2003 and chaired the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce in 2002-2003.
Riverview Community Bank promotes two
Michael Cochran has been promoted to senior vice president business banking manager for Riverview Community Bank. Richard High has been promoted to senior vice president credit administrator. Cochran has more than 30 years of experience in commercial lending. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and the Pacific Coast Banking School and he has been with Riverview since 2000. High is responsible for the support and oversight of the bank’s lending process and loan portfolio. He is a board member for the United Way Columbia-Willamette and the Girl Scouts Columbia River Council.

Mark Brending has joined Columbia Credit Union as an investment representative in the wealth management department. He brings more than 21 years of experience in the financial services industry and is a registered representative of Financial Network Investment Corp.
Carmen Villarma appointed to WEDA board
Governor Christine Gregoire has appointed Carmen Villarma to the Washington Economic Development Finance Authority board. Villarma is president and owner of The Management Group Inc. She currently serves on the board of First Independent Bank and is the chair-elect for the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.

Junior Achievement expands advisory council
Annie Burch, Tamara Fuller and Jeff Gibson have been elected to the advisory council of Junior Achievement-Columbia Empire Inc. Burch is a branch manager at the Vancouver Mall Washington Mutual. Fuller is a senior associate broker at Norris, Beggs & Simpson. Gibson is a collections manager at Wells Fargo.
Community Choices 2010 appoints board members
Kristy Weaver, Rhonda Turner and Chad Dillard have been appointed to the board of directors for Community Choices 2010. Weaver is a branch manager at West Coast Bank and has 17 years of experience. Turner is director of surgical and interventional services at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital and has 33 years of experience. Dillard is the director of marketing for Southwest Washington Medical Center.
Local Red Cross director selected for national project
Beth Paschall, youth services director for the Southwest Washington Chapter of the American Red Cross, was selected by the national headquarters office to serve on the Babysitter’s Training program revision. Paschall has served with the Southwest Washington chapter for three years. Prior to joining the Red Cross, she developed volunteer opportunities and managed volunteers and taught and facilitated parenting courses for Grants Pass School District Number 7.
Jennings earns Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist designation
