nLight announces VP of defense business group
Jake Bell has been promoted to vice president of nLight’s newly created defense business group. Bell joined nLight in June 2005 and was responsible for all sales and marketing programs in North America. Bell is now responsible for general management of all defense related programs and products. Most recently, Bell was employed with Agilent Technologies where he held several sales and marketing management positions. Previously, he directed Hewlett Packard’s IC strategic marketing organization and led ASIC R&D teams for consumer and networking applications.
Bell holds a master’s of business administration degree from Colorado State University as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering from Washington State University.
