Battle Ground Clinic adds family medicine physician
Yahn-Kun Chiou is a new family medicine physician at the Southwest Medical Group Battle Ground Clinic. Chiou was previously the medical director at the Miramar Health Center in Pasco, Wash. Chiou completed his residency at Creighton University Medical Center and fellowship training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia.

Children's Center board elects new officers
The board of directors for Vancouver-based nonprofit Children's Center elected new officers.
Nancy Nellor Retsinas, an attorney with Vancouver-based Nellor Retsinas Crawford PLLC, will serve as board chair. Lisa Hunter Schauer, of Vancouver-based MacKay and Sposito Inc., is vice chair. Barbara Brace, vice president of commercial banking at Umpqua Bank in Vancouver, is treasurer. And Troy Thomas, an Evergreen School District board member, is secretary.
Children's Center provides mental health services to children and families in Clark County.
