BergerABAM adds project manager
Sally Fisher has joined BergerABAM as project manager and environmental scientist. Her experience includes environmental planning and permitting for in-water and transportation projects; environmental site assessment, investigation and remediation; design and contract document preparation for dredging and remediation projects; and construction support. Fisher will work in Southwest Washington and Puget Sound.
SHEELA CHOPPALA-NESTOR
Community Choices appoints interim director
Sheela Choppala-Nestor is Vancouver-based nonprofit Community Choices' new interim executive director, appointed by the board of directors. She holds a doctorate degree in nursing from the University of Washington and was most recently an assistant professor at Washington State University Vancouver, focusing on community health, health disparities and psychiatric nursing.
Choppala-Nestor has served on the Community Choices board since 2007 and will take a leave of absence from that role while in her new position. She replaces Barbe West, who is now executive director of the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.
