Sharon CrouchClark County Fair Association names board president

The Clark County Fair Association has named longtime board member and Clark County Fair volunteer Sharon J. Crouch board President for 2011.

In her new role, Crouch will oversee the governing body for the Clark County Fair.

“I’m honored and privileged to serve such a well-regarded and significant board. I am looking forward to a successful 2011, and keeping the Clark County Fair a viable, strong and highly-regarded community event and program,” she said.

Crouch has served on the board since 2004, including four years as vice-chair. In addition, Crouch is the loss control manager for Clark Public Utilities and a 2005 graduate of Leadership Clark County.

Dr. Sally Williams, of The Vancouver Clinic, recently received the Howard P. Lewis Award from the Oregon chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP).  The award recognizes outstanding achievement in service.

In his nomination letter, Awards Chairman of the ACP, Dr. James Reuter, called Williams a “role model for all physicians.”

In addition to volunteering her time and skills at the Free Clinic Southwest Washington, Williams has helped at medical clinics around the world, including Africa and Haiti.

She currently practices at The Vancouver Clinic’s 87th Avenue location in the Infectious Disease department.

Brannan HershBRANNAN HERSH

Sterling Savings Bank recently announced the promotion of Brannan Hersh to manager of its Cascade Park branch in Vancouver, located at 14610 S.E. Mill Plain Boulevard.

Hersh has been with Sterling for five years, starting as a personal banker with the Clackamas branch, and most recently serving as assistant manager at the Rockwood branch in Portland.

Hersh holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Oregon State University. He also is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association.

Vancouver-based Acuity Group PLLC, a forensic accounting firm specializing in fraud investigation and litigation support, has announced that its founder and principal, Tiffany Couch, has been named a faculty member for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
